He’s definitely a mama’s boy.

Contrary to expectations, studies have shown that Gen Z men are happy to pay for their dates. However, one traumatized woman had a shocking experience when her date used his mother’s credit card to pay the bill at the end of their night out.

Sarli, a TikTok user known as @sarliunlimited, shared a viral video with over 500,000 views recounting her encounter with a major red flag.

The caption on her TikTok video reads, “last night I had a date and when the bill came, he pulled out his mother’s black amex card…”

Let’s agree, that’s strange, but it gets even worse. The rest of the text reveals, “…and said, ‘wanna pay for your drink by yourself or should my mom?’ lol?”

The dating standards seem to have hit rock bottom when someone openly offers to pay with their mom’s card and then asks their date to cover their own drink.

Studies indicate that Gen Z women only paid for 2% of their dates, so the chances of Sarli wanting to pay for her drink were slim.
