Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration event kicks off December 20th

NetEase Games and Marvel have announced that Marvel Rivals’ first seasonal event, Winter Celebration, will start on December 20th. The event will introduce a new limited-time 4v4 mode called Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival, where players take on the role of Jeff in a mode inspired by Splatoon.

Players participating in Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration will have the opportunity to unlock items such as the Jeff the Land Shark: Cuddly Fuzzlefin costume, nameplate, and spray by completing specific objectives. Additionally, Winter-themed costumes for characters like Groot, Rocket, Venom, and Magik will be available, although they may not be free to unlock.

Although a full review of Marvel Rivals is pending, early impressions from Nick suggest that the game has the potential to become a major time sink. He expressed eagerness to play more of the game upon its release on December 6th.
