Lumo 2 announced for PC, Switch, and PS5 with a release set for 2025

Numskull Games and developer Triple Eh? have announced Lumo 2, a sequel to the original Lumo game released nine years ago. Lumo was initially available on PC, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Switch, and Xbox One. The upcoming Lumo 2 is set to be released for PC, PS5, and Switch in 2025, although a specific release date has not been revealed yet.

Lumo 2 draws inspiration from 8-bit games, featuring levels based on games from that era. Players can expect dimensions to shift from dungeon to dungeon, with changing perspectives and gameplay mechanics. In a review of the first Lumo game, it was noted, “Lumo is filled with clever puzzles, but it falls short in certain gameplay aspects that could have elevated it to a great game. The jumping mechanics feel awkward, and combined with perspective issues, players may find themselves failing simple puzzles multiple times. Despite these drawbacks, Lumo has a nostalgic charm that will appeal to players who grew up with similar games, but it may not be suitable for those who are not fans of classic titles or puzzle games.”
