John Cena lays out retirement plan at Money in The Bank

WWE superstar John Cena shocked fans by announcing his retirement during Saturday’s Money In The Bank event in Toronto, although his retirement will not be immediate.

The 47-year-old Cena revealed his plans to retire next year after embarking on a retirement tour. He announced that he will participate in the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Wrestlemania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The crowd initially reacted with disappointment but soon erupted into chants of “Thank You Cena!” as Cena shared his retirement plans.

With 16 world titles, Cena is tied with wrestling legend Ric Flair for the most championships in wrestling history. Known for his “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” mantra, Cena has had memorable rivalries with The Rock, Triple H, CM Punk, and Randy Orton over the years.

The announcement of Cena’s retirement has already sparked speculation about who his final opponent will be, with fans wondering if he will ever face off against WWE icon Stone Cold Steve Austin.
