Itagaki Games has shut down

Itagaki Games, the game development studio founded by Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki, has reportedly closed its doors.
The closure of Itagaki Games was announced in the Japanese government online gazette, Kanpou, which states (via Game Watch) that Itagaki Games LLC has been dissolved, with a request for any outstanding claims to be submitted within two months from the publication date of the notice. The announcement reads:
“Public Notice of Dissolution: Itagaki Games has been dissolved. All persons owing claims to the company are requested to file their claims within two months from the day following the publication of this public notice. In the event that no notice is received within the period to the right, the liquidation of the Company will be disqualified. October 7, 2025”
Itagaki Games was established in 2021 with plans to develop games for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. However, no new games have been released by the company since its inception.
