It may have taken Nintendo 37 years, but Zelda finally gets her own game in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Exciting news for Zelda fans! Nintendo has just announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a solo Zelda game that fans have been eagerly anticipating. This new game puts Zelda in the spotlight, with a storyline reminiscent of the Link’s Awakening remake. In Echoes of Wisdom, Link is the one in need of rescue as strange rifts in space threaten the land of Hyrule, leaving Zelda to save the day. Along the way, she encounters a fairy named Tri who equips her with a special rod that allows her to create duplicates of objects and enemies throughout the world.

Unlike the action-focused gameplay of Link, Zelda’s journey in Echoes of Wisdom will be more puzzle-oriented. Using her ability to clone objects, she can fend off enemies in creative ways and navigate the terrain of Hyrule by creating platforms and structures. Additionally, a new Hyrule Edition of the Switch Lite, inspired by the classic gold Zelda 3DS, is set to be released soon. Fans can look forward to playing Echoes of Wisdom on September 26th of this year.
