It looks even more likely the iPhone Fold will release in 2026

According to Mark Gurman, the rumored iPhone Fold may be released in 2026, aligning with predictions from other analysts. In his Bloomberg newsletter, Gurman mentioned that he expects the foldable device to launch “next year.”

Trusted analyst Jeff Pu has also suggested a 2026 release for the iPhone Fold, indicating that it may come with a hefty price tag of $2,300, potentially making it the most expensive iPhone to date.

While details about the iPhone Fold are mostly speculative as Apple has not confirmed its existence, Gurman speculates that it could be similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold lineup and may feature Apple’s C1 modem. Additionally, rumors suggest the device may have a high-density battery for better battery life and a slim design.

Speculation also surrounds the iPhone Fold’s camera configuration, with some suggesting it may be more limited due to its thin size. However, companies like Oppo and Honor have shown that thin devices can still offer impressive camera capabilities. Whether the iPhone Fold will be a flagship device or something in between remains to be seen, but anticipation for an official announcement from Apple is high. It is unlikely to happen soon, with the earliest potential reveal being at Apple’s September iPhone event.

Stay tuned for more updates on the iPhone Fold as new information becomes available.
