iRobot is launching its biggest-ever robot lineup

This year has been significant for robot vacuums, with new models from Dreame, Eureka, and Roborock offering innovative features such as obstacle avoidance, targeting water spills, and even picking up socks for a more efficient cleaning experience.

Despite the competition, when most people think of robot vacuums, the first brand that comes to mind is Roomba by iRobot. However, iRobot has been relatively quiet during this period of technological advancements in the industry.

Now, it is revealed that iRobot has been preparing to launch its largest-ever lineup of robot vacuums. The new models will be open for pre-order starting March 18 in the US and selected European countries on iRobot.com.

Pricing will range from €399/$469 for the basic Roomba 105 Combo with an auto-empty dock to €799/$999 for the Roomba Plus 505 Combo, featuring an AutoWash dock that auto-empties the bin, washes and dries mop pads, and self-cleans after use. The pricing is competitive considering the features offered.

Along with the new models, iRobot will introduce a revamped Roomba Home app for easier navigation and control.

All models will include:

• Enhanced suction power
• Improved Lidar navigation and mapping speed
• Advanced mopping capabilities compared to the Roomba 600 series
• Automatic carpet detection and avoidance
• Object sensing and avoidance

Additionally, the higher-end models will boast iRobot’s PrecisionVision AI Technology for better obstacle identification and avoidance.
