An Indiana Woman Missing for Over Three Months While Nine Months Pregnant

An Indiana woman, Emma Baum, who was nine months pregnant, disappeared over three months ago in Gary, Indiana. Her family has concerns about her last known whereabouts.

Emma Baum, a 25-year-old mother of three, went missing on October 10 while she was about to give birth to her fourth child. She was last seen being dropped off at her boyfriend’s house, according to her sister, Hailey Baum-Waddell.

Authorities were notified of Emma’s disappearance on October 28 by her family, as reported by Gary Police Cmdr. Jack Hamady.

The search for Emma has been ongoing, with various search efforts conducted by the Gary Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. K-9s have been utilized in several searches in the area.

Aside from official investigations, Emma’s family and relatives have organized widespread search efforts, garnering support from hundreds of volunteers through social media posts.

Emma’s sister, Hailey Baum-Waddell, expressed concerns about her sister’s sudden disappearance, emphasizing her close bond with her oldest son and her dedication as a mother.

There are suspicions surrounding Emma’s boyfriend, with Emma’s family believing he may be involved in her disappearance. However, no charges have been filed in connection with Emma’s case.

Emma Baum is described as approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing around 136 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, scars, tattoos, and a preference for colorful wigs.
