Pakistan has claimed that India is planning to carry out military action against it within the next 24 to 36 hours, citing “credible intelligence”. The Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, warned New Delhi of consequences following this alleged plan. Tarar stated that the Indian government is preparing for an attack based on “baseless and concocted allegations” regarding Pakistan’s involvement in a recent terror attack in Pahalgam.

The Minister emphasized that Pakistan has always condemned terrorism in all its forms and has been a victim of it as well. He offered a “credible, transparent and independent” investigation by a neutral commission of experts but accused India of avoiding such an investigation and opting for a confrontational approach.

Pakistan called for global attention, warning that any military action by India would be met with a decisive response. The country stated that the responsibility for any escalation and its consequences would rest solely with India.
