‘Impractical Jokers’ star Joe Gatto accused of inappropriate behavior by former employee

Joe Gatto is currently facing another accusation regarding his alleged inappropriate behavior.

Initially, a TikToker claimed last week that the 48-year-old former “Impractical Jokers” star sexually assaulted her in 2023. While Gatto denied the accusation, he did admit to exercising poor judgment.

Subsequently, a second woman came forward alleging that Gatto acted inappropriately towards her during her time working for him before he departed from “Impractical Jokers” in 2021.

The individual, who chose to remain unnamed, shared with People in an article published on Sunday that she first met the comedian at one of his live shows when she was 15. She claimed that his behavior changed once she turned 18, becoming overly flirtatious.

During her tenure working with Gatto, he allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior such as occasional inappropriate touching, requesting back massages, and frequently inquiring about her personal life. Additionally, the woman stated that Gatto once invited her to his room and asked to cuddle.

According to the woman, Gatto allegedly boasted about being in an open relationship with his wife, Bessy. Although the couple separated in 2021, they reconciled two years later and share two children.

The woman further claimed that Gatto would comment on her social media posts, calling her “hot,” and would exhibit jealousy when she posted pictures with her boyfriend.

Upon rejecting Gatto’s advances, the woman alleged that he treated her rudely at work, causing her to fear potential termination. Additionally, she recounted an incident during a work trip where Gatto allegedly touched her upper thigh in a hotel elevator, prompting her to move away in discomfort.

The woman also mentioned Gatto’s frequent jokes in the office about bringing girls up the freight elevator to avoid the lobby, which reminded her of the TikToker’s previous accusations against Gatto.

The Post has reached out to Gatto’s representative for a comment on the matter.

On March 20, TikTok user Joozyb alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Gatto when she was 19 years old in 2023.

She claimed that they met at one of his shows in Milwaukee in September 2023 and provided screenshots of their alleged DM exchanges on Instagram, where Gatto purportedly invited her backstage. Joozyb also posted a photo of herself and Gatto together.

Joozyb claimed that after the show, Gatto began using Instagram’s vanish mode for their messages. She stated that in those messages, he directed her to his hotel room where the alleged assault took place.

In one of her TikToks, Joozyb displayed a bruise on her backside and asserted, “Yes, he did S.A me. Yes, he had JUST gotten back together with his wife. I’m sorry you guys don’t want to hear it, but…”

In a statement to Page Six on Saturday, Gatto stated, “I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most. But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone. Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.”
