Awards season is upon us, and for the British film industry the BAFTAs are the cream of the crop.

When are the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards?
The 2025 BAFTA Film Awards will be held on Sunday, 16 February 2025 at 7pm GMT. The event will be live from London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Which channel are the BAFTAs on?
If you’re in the UK, the show will be aired live on BBC One and BBC One HD in the UK.
You’ll be able to watch red carpet arrivals on the BAFTA social channels such as TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
How to watch the BAFTAs online in the UK and US
If you’re in the UK and pay the license fee, the easiest way to watch the BAFTAs online will be through BBC iPlayer, which you can use to watch BBC One live.
In the US, the BAFTAs will be streamed on BritBox. Subscriptions cost $8.99 per month, though new subscribers can get a 7-day free trial.

Who is hosting the BAFTA Awards?
British acting royalty David Tennant will be hosting the ceremony for the second year in a row.

The final shortlist nominations for the BAFTAs are out now. Conclave, Emilia Pérez, and The Brutalist lead the way in the nominations, listed in 12, 11, and 9 categories respectively.
Dune: Part Two and Wicked are also up for numerous awards.
