How To Vote In The Brit Awards 2025

The upcoming music awards are quickly approaching. The Brits is the largest event in the UK, and the public can vote for several categories.

Five genre-specific awards will be determined by those at home. They include Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act, and R&B Act. The best part is that voting is open to anyone worldwide, according to the official website.

If you want to help choose the winner, it’s simple. We’ve tested it on WhatsApp and created an easy step-by-step guide. Nominees include Charli XCX, RAYE, and Sam Fender, and there’s a way to support your favorite artist multiple times.

Just remember to do so before Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:59pm GMT, as that’s when voting ends. The winners will be announced during the show on Saturday, March 1, 2025, on ITV1/ITVX.

Open the BRIT Awards voting link on WhatsApp

Follow this link to access voting for The Brit Awards 2025 on your smartphone. This will automatically generate a message that says ‘Vote’. Enter this into the chat

Note that we tried this process on WhatsApp desktop and were unsuccessful

Your WhatsApp account must also be set to ‘public’, and there is no charge for voting as it’s done over the internet

Select ‘Start Voting’

To start the process, select ‘Start voting’ – this will generate that message into the chat

Pick which category you’d like to vote for in The Brit Awards

Under the prompt ‘Which category would you like to vote for?’, select ‘Pick category’. This will then generate the five genres you can vote for: Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act, and R&B Act

Note that you can only select one at a time. Once you’ve chosen, click the green ‘Send’ button

Cast your vote

There are five nominees per category. Choose the artists from the dropdown list and it will be generated in the chat

Repeat the process until you’re finished

Once you’ve selected the artist you want, you’ll be given the option to either ‘Vote in new category’ or ‘Finish voting’. The latter will happen automatically once you’ve voted in all five genres

You can’t repeat a same category vote in one turn, you’ll need to wait until voting refreshes
