Honkai: Star Rail update 3.1 launches later in February

Version 3.1 will see Trailblazers and their companions embarking on the exciting Flame-Chase Journey, delving into uncharted territories and engaging in a series of thrilling events. The update will also introduce two new playable characters, Tribbie and Mydei, each bringing their own unique storyline to the game.

Following the successful retrieval of Nikador’s Coreflame in the previous chapter, the Flame-Chase Journey continues to be a race against time. With preparations already underway for the next phase, players will take on the role of messengers in Version 3.1, journeying to the new map “Grove of Epiphany” to further the adventure.

The Grove of Epiphany, a city-state dedicated to Cerces, the Reason Titan, serves as a hub of knowledge and is closely linked to Okhema. Renowned for its contributions to the Flame-Chase Journey, the Grove has long been a source of critical research on the black tide and Titans, acting as a beacon of enlightenment. However, recent events have seen the Grove come under attack, with a mysterious enemy seeking to claim Cerces’ Coreflame. In the Trailblaze Mission of Version 3.1, players must rise to the challenge, uncover truths, and restore hope to Okhema.

Additionally, Version 3.1’s Main Story will see Trailblazers utilizing the power of Oronyx to explore the “Abyss of Fate,” formerly known as “Janusopolis,” in its Day State. Along the way, players will unravel secrets from the “Era Chrysea,” shedding light on Tribbie’s enigmatic past.

As the first demigod of Amphoreus, Tribios, the Holy Maiden of “Janusopolis,” received a prophecy of Deliverance from Kephale. To spread this prophecy, Tribios transformed herself into messengers and embarked on a journey. As a 5-star Quantum character, Tribbie offers support and strategic advantages in battle, creating opportunities for her team to emerge victorious. Mydei, the second playable 5-star character, is the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, wielding his undying nature to vanquish foes.

Version 3.1 also marks the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo, adding to the roster of formidable allies for players to recruit.

Alongside the new characters and storylines, Version 3.1 introduces a variety of exciting events, including the Divergent Universe season featuring a research topic centered on Amphoreus. Players will also experience the innovative “Day and Night System” in battles, offering unique boosts and effects. The Awooo Firm event invites players to manage the chimera squad in Okhema, guiding them to become the strongest team.
