Hit city-builder Manor Lords has been updated with two new maps and a heap of changes

Slavic Magic and Hooded Horse have recently released an update for Manor Lords, a medieval city builder game, introducing new maps, the ability to construct bridges, and various other features.

This update consolidates two beta patches into one extensive changelog. The new maps added are High Peaks and Winding River, with the latter showcasing the new bridge-building mechanic that extends the existing road tool.

The bridge-building feature is complemented by enhancements to the game’s cliff geography to make it clearer which areas are buildable or traversable. Lead developer Greg Styczeń has also improved pathfinding around cliffs and resolved issues with gaps appearing between landscape components and cliffs when zooming out.

Other significant changes include worker restrictions for stalls, where only storage building workers can now set up marketplace stalls. Additionally, the number of goods a marketplace can supply is now capped by the number of stalls, with capacities indicated on the market panel.

Styczeń has introduced a stone well upgrade for wells, level two taverns, and revised how ale and water are distributed from wells and taverns.

This update brings a plethora of changes, detailed in the extensive changelog. Manor Lords was launched in April last year and is expected to exit early access around April 2025. Manor Lords launched in April last year, and was due to remain in early access for approximately one year. Using such braincells as I have left that aren’t now wholly given over to talk of bowyers, burgage plots and butchery, I deduce from this that it might leave early access in April 2025.
