Heritage aviation launches daily helicopter service on Pithoragarh-Almora route, ET TravelWorld

Heritage Aviation, a leader in India’s helicopter services, has launched daily helicopter flights on the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route, enhancing connectivity in Uttarakhand’s scenic yet remote regions. This new service promises to provide fast, comfortable travel for both residents and tourists, offering stunning aerial views of the region’s landscapes.

The initiative is expected to significantly reduce travel time, driving economic growth and promoting tourism in these areas. After successful routes to Pithoragarh, Munsyari, and Champawat, Heritage Aviation is expanding its network by introducing Almora as a new destination under the UDAN scheme. The service will operate two daily flights on 7-seater helicopters.

The first flight will depart from Pithoragarh at 10:00 AM, with the return flight from Almora at 10:20 AM. The second flight will leave Pithoragarh at 1:40 PM, with the return flight from Almora at 2:05 PM.

Rohit Mathur, CEO and Managing Director of Heritage Aviation, commented: “Our goal is to connect all major towns in Uttarakhand by helicopter. We will soon introduce daily flights on routes like Dehradun-Bageshwar, Haldwani-Bageshwar, and Dehradun-Nainital. We are committed to providing affordable fares to benefit local communities.”

This new route reinforces Heritage Aviation’s dedication to improving regional air travel, ensuring faster, safer, and more accessible options for residents and tourists alike.
