Headup Games has announced they’ve spun off one of their development teams into a fully independent studio called Goon Squad.
The team at Goon Squad is known for producing titles like Tinkertown and Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine.
By launching this new independent studio, Headup Games is “empowering this creative hub to flourish independently, fostering a space where new gaming experiences can take root and grow while sharpening its own positioning with a clear publishing focus.”
Both Headup and Goon Squad will operate as sister companies with distinct identities and remain fully owned parts of Microcuts Holding
