Grand Theft Auto 6 is still hitting consoles in autumn, says Take-Two boss, promise

Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has given assurance to shareholders that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track for an autumn release this year. During a public call discussing the company’s quarterly financial earnings, Zelnick reiterated the planned release for consoles. However, there is still no information on a release window for PC players.
Zelnick also confirmed the upcoming summer release of Mafia: The Old Country and Borderlands 4’s release before the end of the year. Despite the lack of new information, Zelnick’s reaffirmation of the game’s release schedule is consistent with his previous statements from last year.
During the call, Zelnick highlighted the success of GTA V, which has sold 210 million copies, and the longevity of GTA Online across multiple console generations. He also mentioned Take-Two’s extensive player database and their commitment to privacy regulations.
When asked about sales expectations and the game’s appeal to younger audiences, Zelnick emphasized Rockstar Games’ pursuit of perfection in all their endeavors. However, PC players are still awaiting a release date for GTA 6.
While the call included typical business updates and projections, the focus remains on the anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 6 and its impact on the gaming industry.
As stakeholders continue to monitor developments, the excitement surrounding GTA 6’s release builds, with the hope that Rockstar Games will deliver a flawless gaming experience for all players.
