Ghost of Yotei release date set for October

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Sucker Punch Productions have officially announced the release date for Ghost of Yotei, the highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Yotei is scheduled to launch on October 2nd exclusively for PlayStation 5, available both in retail stores and on the PlayStation Store.
Accompanying this exciting news is the release of a brand new trailer for Ghost of Yotei titled “The Onryō’s List.” The game is set in Ezo (known as Hokkaido today), where Atsu, a survivor seeking revenge, is on a mission to hunt down the Yōtei Six – a group of outlaws responsible for the tragedy that befell her family sixteen years ago.
As players embark on Atsu’s journey of vengeance, they will discover a rich narrative filled with unexpected allies, new weapons, and immersive gameplay mechanics that delve into Atsu’s past and motivations. The open-world of Ezo offers a diverse and engaging experience, allowing players to choose their path and explore the wilderness at their own pace.
Pre-orders for Ghost of Yotei will commence next week on May 2nd at 10:00 AM local time, with various editions available for purchase, including the Collector’s Edition.
Players who pre-order any edition will receive exclusive in-game rewards, such as a unique mask and a set of PSN avatars featuring the main characters. The standard edition of Ghost of Yotei will retail for $69.99 USD, while the Digital Deluxe Edition, priced at $79.99, includes additional in-game bonuses.
For fans looking for the ultimate experience, the Collector’s Edition of Ghost of Yotei will feature a plethora of physical and digital content, including a replica display of Atsu’s Ghost mask, a sash with the names of the Yōtei Six, and other themed collectibles.
