In a recent update on the roadmap for Frostpunk 2, 11 bit studios has announced that the console version of their post-apocalyptic city-building game is set to be released this summer.

The Frostpunk 2 roadmap now features three key milestones with specific timeframes. On May 8th, the first major free content update will be released, focusing on adjustments to the City’s management. Following that, the console port is expected to launch sometime during the summer. The Spectrum DLC is targeted for release in the autumn.

Looking further ahead, there are plans for two additional DLC packs. The Aurora DLC is still on track for this year, while the third untitled DLC is slated for 2026.

Here’s the breakdown from 11 bit:

  • May 8th – A significant day with a Free Major Content Update focusing on City management, inspired by the first New Londoners.
  • Summer – The much-anticipated Console Port will be launched.
  • Autumn – The release of the Spectrum DLC, offering insights into the city and its inhabitants.

Additionally, fans of Frostpunk and city-building games are encouraged to mark their calendars for the seventh-anniversary celebration of the original game on April 24th.
