Florida GOP pol plays 'Kamalopoly' with grandkids in new ad to highlight Harris failures

Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.) is using a creative approach to highlight Vice President Kamala Harris’ economic record in a new ad. The congressman put a political spin on the classic board game Monopoly in the ad.

In the TV spot, Gimenez and his grandchildren play a game called “Kamalopoly” where the stakes are higher than usual.

The ad humorously references political issues such as illegal immigration and inflation through the gameplay.

Ahead of the 2024 election, congressional Republicans and former President Donald Trump have criticized Harris and President Biden for rising inflation and lawlessness at the southern border.

The ad, set to air in both English and Spanish in the Miami media market, targets the Latino demographic that the GOP has been making inroads with.

The ad aims to resonate with Hispanic voters, highlighting fiscal solutions and immigration reforms proposed by Trump.

Gimenez, who is expected to win in the 28th Congressional District, has a strong support base among the Hispanic population in Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys.

The ad showcases Gimenez’s ability to connect with voters through creative messaging, as evidenced by his success in the 2022 midterms.
