Fitbit Could Become the New Default App on Android Phones

Android users can expect another pre-installed app on their phones. Google’s Fitbit fitness app has now been spotted among the pre-installed apps in the Google folder on new Android devices, as reported by 9to5Google.
The app was found on the recently released Oppo Find X8 Android phones. Alongside popular apps like Chrome, Gmail, and Google Maps, Fitbit has taken the place of the older Google Fit fitness app in the Google folder.
It remains to be seen if Fitbit will also come pre-installed on other upcoming Android phones.
