FBC: Firebreak release date confirmed for June

Remedy Entertainment has announced that FBC: Firebreak, a co-op spin-off of Control, will be released on June 17th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic.
FBC: Firebreak is priced at $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99, with availability on PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium) from day one. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99, with an upgrade option for $10 / €10 / £7.
The announcement was made during the April Developer Update, which showcased a new mission called Hot Fix and revisited Paper Chase, featuring spooky sticky notes.
Other revealed missions include one involving a Furnace causing fires in the Maintenance Sector, requiring players to activate sprinklers and fans, as well as the pink Exogenic Mass, which explodes upon contact.
In FBC: Firebreak, a three-player co-op shooter akin to Left 4 Dead, players will have access to various weapons including shotguns, a crank-fired fluid projector, an electric charge impactor, and a big wrench with a squeaky toy pig attachment.
Players can earn rewards through a system called Requisitions, which offer cosmetics and gear like weapons, equipment, armor, sprays, and more through in-game currency without any time-limited or rotating stores.
Classified Requisitions are premium cosmetic items available for purchase with real money, included in the Deluxe Edition along with other exclusive content.
Remedy also outlined the post-launch plans for FBC: Firebreak, with two additional missions planned for release by 2025 and continued updates through 2026, all of which will be free for players.
We’re looking forward to returning to the Oldest House and engaging in explosive paper destruction!
