Evotinction release date has been confirmed for September

In 2019, Evotinction, a stealth action game, was unveiled as part of the China Hero Project. Astrolabe Games, in partnership with developer Spikewave Games, has announced the release date for the project. Evotinction is set to launch on September 13th for PS5 and PC, with a global release on the same day.

In the world of Evotinction, a virus named Red has corrupted an AI system, turning it into a rogue entity. This AI controls the operations of a research and development facility called HERE, which now poses a danger to anyone who enters. Dr. Liu, the Head of R&D at HERE, decides to infiltrate the facility to uncover the cause of the malfunction and, if possible, deactivate the rogue AI. With no combat abilities, Dr. Liu must rely on hacking and stealth to maneuver through the facility’s levels and address the central issue. His arsenal of gadgets enables him to disrupt long-range signals, jam radio and electromagnetic frequencies, create holographic illusions, implant malware, and take over systems. Evotinction offers more than ten hours of fully-voiced story content, as well as a variety of environments for players to stealthily navigate and hack through.
