EvieAI Health Assistant Unveiled for Smart Ring at CES 2025

Evie, a smart ring designed specifically for women, is introducing a new feature in the form of an AI-powered wellness assistant. This assistant aims to provide more reliable medical information than ChatGPT and outperform competitors like Oura.

At CES 2025, Movano Health unveiled EvieAI, the first wearable-based virtual wellness assistant. It has been trained using data from over 100,000 medical journals to ensure accurate responses to user queries.

The EvieAI assistant can be accessed through the Evie companion smartphone app. Movano Health assures users that industry-standard encryption protocols have been followed to protect shared and stored data, ensuring user privacy.

Conversations with EvieAI are designed to be untraceable back to individual users, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

Movano Health plans to enhance the AI wellness assistant’s capabilities to provide personalized responses based on data collected by the smart ring and app usage. This will include metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen, skin temperature, exercise, and mood in the future.

Existing Evie Ring owners can currently access the beta version of EvieAI for free. While not a new iteration of the Evie Ring, the addition of new features will be welcomed by current users.

Competition in the smart ring market has increased since the initial launch of the Evie Ring in 2022 and its subsequent release in 2024.

The integration of AI in wearables is still in its early stages, and it will be interesting to see if these developments make the Evie Ring more attractive to consumers or if Movano Health needs to do more to compete with other popular smart rings like the Oura Ring and Samsung Galaxy Ring.
