Ender Magnolia’s latest update invites you to fight its toughest baddies again with a new boss rush mode
It has been less than two months since the release of Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist, and developers Adglobe and Live Wire have already rolled out a significant update. The standout feature is the introduction of a New Game+ mode, allowing players to embark on the “evil-purging adventure once again, this time equipped with gear and relics from previous playthroughs”, facing tougher enemies with new attack strategies.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, here’s a brief overview: Ender Magnolia follows Lilac, an “Attuner” on a mission to save the Homunculi. Alongside them, you delve into your lost memories, acquiring unique abilities by turning defeated bosses into allies. It’s an exciting concept that was already enticing even before this latest update.
In addition to the New Game+ mode, the 1.1.0 update of Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist introduces the option to challenge defeated bosses again. As the press release explains, “allies turn into foes once more as Lilac gains the ability to revisit significant battles from the past.” These battles can be replayed at rest points to earn additional Fragments for unlocking collectibles.
The update also includes a new Boss Rush mode for players who enjoy boss battles but prefer to skip the metroidvania elements, offering time-based completion bonuses for speedrunners. The update is now available for players to enjoy.
