EA and BioWare will be announcing the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard later today, with an announcement trailer scheduled to go live at 5PM BST. However, the game’s launch date of 31st October 2024 has already been leaked through a video advertisement discovered by Wario64.

So…. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 31st October.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard – previously known as Dragon Age 4 and then as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf – marks the highly anticipated return of one of BioWare’s most beloved RPG series.

In recent months, the studio has been unveiling more details and announcements, starting with a gameplay trailer during Summer Game Fest. This trailer showcased the early stages of the game with our player character, Rook, and series veteran Varric exploring the city of Minrathous in search of Solas. The narrative revolves around stopping Solas from disrupting the Veil, which is allowing demons to cross into the world.

Later in July, BioWare revealed the full voice cast for all the companions:

  • Rook voiced by Erika Ishii, Jeff Berg, Bryony Corrigan, and Alex Jordan.
  • Harding the Dwarven Scout voiced by Ali Hillis.
  • Davrin the Grey Warden voiced by Ike Amadi.
  • Bellara the Veil Jumper voiced by Jee Young Han.
  • Neve the Shadow Dragons rebel voiced by Jessica Clark.
  • Taash the Dragon Hunter voiced by Jin Maley.
  • Emmrich the Necromancer voiced by Nick Boraine.
  • Manfred, Emmrich’s skeletal assistant, voiced by Matthew Mercer.
  • Lucanis the Assassin voiced by Zach Mendez.
