DOOM: The Dark Ages Cosmic Realm has been revealed in new footage

A new trailer has just been unveiled for DOOM: The Dark Ages, showcasing a fresh area known as the Cosmic Realm. This new location offers a unique setting within the DOOM franchise, exploring a Lovecraftian dimension that has formed an alliance with Hell.

The Cosmic Realm isn’t just a new backdrop for players to navigate; it also introduces a range of formidable foes. Among them is the Cosmic Baron, a swift and powerful adversary armed with twin blades. The Cosmic Baron can unleash psionic attacks to counter your moves, keeping the pressure on even at a distance. Additionally, the floating Cacodemon can immobilize you with shield assaults from afar before closing in for tentacle strikes.

Amidst the challenges of the Cosmic Realm lies a new weapon: the Reaver Chainshot. This ballistic mace offers versatility, allowing players to deliver quick strikes or charge up for the devastating Chaos Sphere. Described as a unique addition to the DOOM arsenal, the Reaver Chainshot promises thrilling combat encounters.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is set to launch on May 15th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with availability on Xbox Game Pass for eligible tiers on day one.
