Do The Game is a new docu-series charting 10 Chambers path through Den of Wolves’ development

One of the most significant advantages of the modern world is the ability to delve deep into your interests and hobbies in a way that was previously unimaginable. However, game development still remains somewhat mysterious, with secretive undertones and carefully controlled PR encounters giving the impression that games magically come into existence, ready to be played. However, common sense tells us otherwise, and 10 Chambers is giving us the chance to experience the true nature of game development through their documentary series ‘Do The Game’, which chronicles the journey of their latest game’s development.
The game in question is Den of Wolves, the spiritual successor to their previous work on GTFO, Payday 1, and Payday 2. We had the opportunity to play it a few weeks ago, and it already shows promise as a potential multiplayer hit for the team upon its release in the near future.
10 Chambers, founded by Ulf Anderson, Oscar J-T Holm, Simon Viklund, and Anders Bodbacka, is a team grounded in pragmatism, with a history of family conflict that led Ulf and his brother to part ways. This emotional reality forms the foundation of Do The Game, as the team aims to portray the gritty truth of game development, showcasing the challenges, struggles, and triumphs without sugarcoating the process as many pre-release showcases do.
“Despite our past success with GTFO and now working on a major title like Den of Wolves, the reality behind the scenes can be far from glamorous,” says Oscar J-T Holm, Co-Founder at 10 Chambers. “Growing a company while developing a game can be incredibly stressful and can strain even long-standing friendships. Through this Docu-Reality series, we aim to provide an unfiltered look behind the curtain.”
Through Do The Game, 10 Chambers is opening up the world to the raw reality of game development—the chaos, passion, and pressure of striving to make history. Ulf Anderson’s sentiment? “I hate making this documentary,” he admits.
