Dmitry Zelenov's Florida home sells for $14.82M to a trust

The Fisher Island, Florida, residence of a 50-year-old Russian oligarch who passed away in suspicious circumstances in Antibes, France, has been sold for $14.82 million, as per Gimme Shelter.

Dmitry Zelenov fell ill in December 2022 during a dinner party at a friend’s home on the French Riviera, then tragically passed away due to head injuries after falling over a stair railing, reports stated.

Since the start of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, several accident-prone Russian billionaires have died in peculiar ways, leading to the term “Sudden Russian death syndrome.”

The Fisher Island property is situated at 6923 Valencia Drive and was sold by a trust connected to Zelenov.

Zelenov had purchased the villa through the trust for $7.45 million in 2007, according to public records. Initially listed for $18.5 million in 2021, the price dropped to $15.9 million in the previous year.

Spanning 7,137 square feet, the six-bedroom, 6½-bath estate is located within the gated community of Valencia Estates, built in 2002 on a third of an acre.

The property features crown moldings, arched windows, and marble floors. Arched doorways lead to a family room with a fireplace and French doors opening to the pool area.
