Delhi Airport launches premium bus service to Agra, BA News, BA

Delhi International Airport, operated by GMR Airports, has launched a luxury bus service connecting Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi with Agra. The service, developed in collaboration with private operator RIGI TRANS TECH PVT LTD, will run twice daily and is designed to meet growing demand from tourists and business travellers seeking a seamless and comfortable travel experience.
The initiative aims to strengthen connectivity between Delhi and Agra, two of India’s most iconic destinations. With the Taj Mahal drawing millions of visitors each year, the premium bus service offers a viable alternative for those flying into Delhi and continuing their journey to Agra. The service caters to international tourists, domestic travellers, and business commuters alike.
Each bus is equipped with reclining seats offering generous legroom, climate-controlled interiors, onboard Wi-Fi, charging ports, and personal entertainment systems with headphones. Passengers will also have access to an onboard pantry offering refreshments and dedicated washrooms. Professionally trained drivers and regularly maintained vehicles are expected to ensure safety and reliability.
Speaking on the launch, DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar said, “At DIAL, we continually strive to enhance connectivity and provide innovative solutions that make travel more enjoyable. By offering this seamless connection between two of India’s most significant destinations, we are addressing a crucial need for both domestic and international travellers. This is another step in our ongoing mission to transform the travel ecosystem and create value for all our stakeholders.”
