CyberArk snaps up Zilla Security for up to $175M

CyberArk, an information security company, has recently acquired Zilla Security, an identity access and governance platform, in a deal valued at up to $175 million.
Established in 1999 and based in Boston, CyberArk is known for its expertise in access management, particularly privileged access security, which aids organizations in safeguarding sensitive data and critical infrastructure from both external and internal threats.
In 2014, CyberArk went public on the Nasdaq, experiencing a remarkable 41% surge in share value over the past year, reaching a record valuation exceeding $18 billion. Today, the company announced its Q4 results, showcasing a 41% revenue increase, with a notable 62% rise in subscription revenue. Additionally, CyberArk’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) has surpassed the significant milestone of $1 billion.
