Customs officers interrupted Lauren Sánchez’s sunbathing on fiancé Jeff Bezos’ $500 million yacht, Koru, on New Year’s Eve for a three-hour search, as reported by Page Six.

Photos show Sánchez, 55, in a Versace bikini and sarong, while officials searched the boat near St. Barts, a popular celebrity destination.

The inspection, although lengthy, was described as routine by a source, and a spokesperson for customs in St. Barts did not comment.

Bezos was not on board during the search, and Sánchez appeared unfazed as she continued sunbathing with friends, including ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, a former NFL player, is reportedly one of Sánchez’s best friends and was seen enjoying the ocean during the incident.

After rumors of a lavish wedding between Bezos and Sánchez were denied by the Amazon CEO, the couple’s engagement in May 2023 was confirmed by Page Six, followed by a celebration aboard Koru in August.
