Chivalry 2 is now feature complete, say developers, but new projects in the same universe are on the way

Removing a knight’s shiny dome with a halberd swing in medieval multiplayer melee Chivalry 2 is a gratifying act in gaming. Torn Banner, the developer, has been providing free updates to the player base, including horses, angry peasants, and the recent Regicide update. However, with their focus now on No More Room In Hell 2, they have declared Chivalry 2 as “feature complete.”

In a blog post, Torn Banner expressed their excitement to work on new multiplayer projects, both within the Chivalry universe and in new co-op territory. This includes the upcoming release of No More Room In Hell 2. Despite this shift, support for Chivalry 2 will continue with hotfixes and updates.

Chivalry 2 has seen significant development over the years, with a total of 11 major content drops culminating in the story conclusion of the Regicide update. The team at Torn Banner has accomplished many of their wishlist items for the game’s future, leaving players to decide if they truly have the “best horses ever.”
