Cathay Pacific introduces premium economy on Chennai-Hong Kong flights, BA

Cathay Pacific has introduced its Premium Economy cabin on flights from Chennai to Hong Kong, marking a significant upgrade in service for passengers travelling between the two destinations. This new offering demonstrates the airline’s ongoing commitment to improving its customer experience and expanding its service options.

The airline will operate its modern Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this route, which features Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins, catering to the diverse needs and preferences of its travellers.

In the past, there wasn’t an option between Business and Economy classes, but with the introduction of our Premium Economy cabin, travellers can opt for extra comfort and personalised services, especially on medium- and long-haul flights. Our aim is to enhance the air travel experience for our customers.”

The Premium Economy cabin is designed to provide travellers with a level of comfort that bridges the gap between Business and Economy. It offers thoughtfully designed seats with enhanced recline, additional legroom, and ergonomic headrests for maximum relaxation.

Other features include full-length calf rests, leather-padded footrests, and larger meal tables, which improve both dining and work comfort. The cabin also offers personalised storage spaces to keep essentials close at hand. Additionally, passengers can enjoy a refreshed entertainment system with Disney+ Originals and a user-friendly interface, setting a new standard for in-flight entertainment.
