Car Plows Into Vancouver Festival, Killing People

A tragic incident took place at a Filipino street festival in Vancouver, British Columbia, where a driver plowed into a group of partygoers, resulting in the death of at least nine people, as confirmed by local authorities.

Vancouver police described the event as a “mass casualty incident” at a neighborhood block party. The driver, a 30-year-old Vancouver man, was taken into custody as the lone suspect at the scene.
