Broken Sword remaster coming to PC & consoles on September 19th

The remastered version of The Broken Sword has finally been given a release date and is set to launch on PC and consoles on September 19th, 2024. Titled “Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged”, this upgraded version of the classic adventure game, which initially appeared on PlayStation and PC almost thirty years ago in 1996, promises to bring a fresh and modern experience to players.

This new version, known as Reforged, boasts 4K visuals and enhancements to artwork, animations, and audio, aiming to revitalize the beloved point-and-click adventure game. Additionally, the game introduces a new “story mode” feature designed to help players navigate through the narrative smoothly, without getting stuck on difficult puzzles that may have hindered progress in the original game.
