'Bridge Constructor' for Quest Brings XR Version of Popular Bridge-building Sim Starting Dec 12th

A popular bridge-building puzzle sandbox game is set to launch on Quest this week, offering a wide range of challenges in virtual and mixed reality on Quest.

Bridge Constructor Studio was initially planned for release last week, bringing its bridge-building simulation to Quest in VR, as well as the ability to build, test, and adjust your bridge in mixed reality on Quest 3. Despite the delay, it’s finally arriving.

Scheduled for release on December 12th, Bridge Constructor Studio features 70 puzzles in its campaign, challenging players to transport different vehicles from one point to another using various construction materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.

Unlike the previous non-VR versions of Bridge Constructor (or its main competitor Poly Bridge), the XR version does not have default budget restrictions or material limits, although players can enable them to earn a special award, according to the studio.

Aside from the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio also offers a Scenario Creation Mode, allowing players to create and play their own bridge-building scenarios and save up to 40 custom levels to their player profile.

Bridge Constructor Studio was developed by ClockStone STUDIO, the same team behind both the non-VR and VR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023), as well as the various non-VR versions of Bridge Constructor, the first of which was released in 2011.

Priced at $10, the game will be exclusively available for Quest 2 and 3 on December 12th. It can be found on the Horizon Store.
