Brian Daboll confirms he’s taking over Giants’ play-calling duties
It has been announced that Brian Daboll will be taking over play-calling duties for the Giants this season.
The Giants’ coach confirmed this expectation on Tuesday before practice.
“Yeah, I’m doing it,” he said.
However, he did not provide further details regarding this decision.
When asked about taking on additional responsibilities, Daboll mentioned that as head coach, he is accountable for everything.
There were speculations that Daboll assumed these duties from offensive coordinator Mike Kafka last season, although this was never officially confirmed, and Kafka continues in the same role on the staff.
Daboll chose not to delve into the reasons behind the change, stating that his primary focus is on preparing for the upcoming game against the Vikings in Week 1 at MetLife Stadium.
