Rebellion has officially announced that their upcoming survival action game, Atomfall, is set to be released on March 27th, 2025. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Atomfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. To commemorate the release date of Atomfall, a new trailer has been unveiled, featuring a specially composed song.

Located in the North of England during the 1960s, Atomfall’s storyline diverges from reality after the catastrophic Windscale fire, the UK’s worst nuclear disaster at the Sellafield nuclear plant. Following the aftermath of the fire, the nearby area has been placed under quarantine, masking other mysterious occurrences. The quarantine zone has deteriorated, littered with wrecked helicopters and abandoned cars, while the residents of Windham village are under the surveillance of Protocol – a military organization tasked with managing the rescue and support operation. Armed with advanced weaponry, Protocol deploys towering 1950s sci-fi style robots armed with machine guns and flamethrowers to maintain order in both the village and the deserted underground bunkers of BARD, crucial locations for unraveling the game’s enigmatic world.

Pre-orders are now open for both the standard edition and Deluxe Edition of Atomfall. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, early access three days before the official release, a basic supply bundle, an enhanced supply bundle, and access to the first story expansion set to release later. The details of the story expansion have not been disclosed yet. The standard edition is priced at £44.99, while the Atomfall Deluxe Edition is priced at £64.99. Those who pre-order the standard edition will receive the basic supply bundle.
