As literally everything gets more and more expensive, Everspace 2's devs say screw it, let's make our upcoming DLC cheaper

It seems like everything is getting more expensive these days. Bills, food, video games – you name it. Paying £75 for a game where you play as an Italian plumber driving around doesn’t quite seem justified, Mr. Bowser. However, amidst all this rising cost, there is some good news. Rockfish Games has announced that the upcoming Wrath of the Ancients DLC for Everspace 2 will actually be priced lower when it launches.

The announcement was made by Rockfish in a recent Steam post, citing the current global events that have led to increased prices and uncertainty. Originally planned to be priced at $30, Wrath of the Ancients will now be available for $25, providing a welcomed reduction for players. Additionally, the previous DLC Titans will also see a price drop from $15 to $12. This decision was made without cutting any content, as the developers are currently in the final stages of polishing and bug fixing before release.

It’s not often that we hear of a developer lowering the cost of DLC before its release, making this move by Rockfish quite commendable. Every dollar saved can make a difference, and players can look forward to purchasing the DLC when it launches on May 12th.
