Arkham Shadow', Coming to Quest 3 Tomorrow

Camouflaj, the studio behind the upcoming Quest 3 exclusive Batman: Arkham Shadow, has announced that Elijah Wood has provided both the voice and motion capture for the character Scarecrow, also known as Dr. Jonathan Crane.

Wood expressed his excitement about joining the cast of Arkham Shadow in a video message during the studio’s Q&A session. He shared his love for Batman and his interest in the VR experience the game offers.

Wood, known for his work in The Lord of The Rings trilogy, mentioned that Arkham Shadow gave him the chance to explore performance capture for the first time, along with portraying an iconic character like Scarecrow.

He expressed his anticipation for players’ reactions to the game and his own excitement to experience and play it. Wood concluded his message by referencing the game’s theme of fear.

Further details about the game, including gameplay footage and a Q&A session, were also shared during the announcement.

Batman: Arkham Shadow features a star-studded cast, with Roger Craig Smith returning as Batman and other notable voice actors portraying various characters in the game.

The game is set to launch exclusively on Quest 3 and Quest 3S on October 23rd, offering players the signature combat style of the Arkham series along with new gadgets and challenges. As a canon entry in the series timeline, players will continue the story after the events of Arkham Origins (2013).
