Apple Releases The Weeknd’s Immersive Music Video Exclusively for Vision Pro
Apple Releases Immersive Music Video from The Weeknd on Vision Pro
Apple has unveiled a new immersive music video featuring The Weeknd’s latest single ‘Open Hearts’, exclusively available on Vision Pro for a limited time.
Shot in Apple’s Immersive Video format, ‘Open Hearts’ offers viewers a 180-degree immersive experience with spatial audio, showcasing the eponymous single from the Canadian pop artist’s upcoming album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’.
Transporting viewers into the heart of the action, the music video—or rather an immersive music experience—allows viewers to join The Weeknd on an “electrifying sonic voyage” through a surreal and haunting cityscape, according to Apple.
The five-minute experience is available for free on Vision Pro through the Apple TV app. Users interested in experiencing ‘Open Hearts’ can also request a demo at their local Apple Store starting today.
Apple has announced more upcoming free experiences, including the highly anticipated Concert for One, set to launch globally on Friday, November 22nd. This event will offer fans intimate performances from some of the world’s biggest artists.
This release follows the debut of Submerged, Apple’s first scripted short film and one of the most expensive immersive videos to date. Filmed in Apple Immersive Video format, Submerged features a full-scale 23-ton submarine set constructed with real metal, inspired by WWII-era vessels.
