Inspired by OnePlus’ Open Canvas multitasking feature, Google seems to be incorporating similar capabilities into Android 16. OnePlus introduced Open Canvas alongside their OnePlus Open foldable device in 2023, enabling users to run three apps concurrently alongside each other.
