Akasa Air launches priority check in and baggage handling service, BA

Akasa Air has introduced Akasa Priority, a priority check-in service aimed at providing a seamless and efficient travel experience for those who prioritize convenience. This service is available for both domestic and international flights, streamlining the check-in and boarding processes to ensure passengers have a smooth journey from start to finish.

Akasa Priority offers various benefits to enhance the travel experience. Priority check-in allows passengers to skip the long queues, making the airport experience quicker and more relaxed. The priority baggage service ensures that luggage is handled promptly and arrives early at the destination. Additionally, priority boarding enables passengers to board ahead of others, reducing stress and making the journey more comfortable.

This comprehensive service package offers passengers an affordable and efficient option compared to purchasing individual services separately.

Travelers can opt for Akasa Priority during flight reservations or manage their bookings through Akasa Air’s official website. The service can also be pre-booked online or purchased at the airport up to one hour before domestic flights and two hours before international flights. A nominal fee of INR 700 per sector applies to domestic flights, while international flights cost INR 800.

Akasa Air currently serves 23 domestic and five international cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, and more. The airline operates 27 737 MAX aircraft known for their efficiency in reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
