Air India announces updates to international route network for 2025, ET TravelWorld

Air India has announced updates to its international route network starting in 2025, with a focus on enhancing flexibility and connectivity. The airline will deploy its most advanced aircraft to major Southeast Asian and European destinations, complementing the introduction of its A350 and B777 with upgraded cabins on several US and UK routes.

Among the key changes, Air India will deploy its retrofitted A320neo on the Delhi-Bangkok route from 16 January 2025. The aircraft will feature refreshed interiors in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class, along with Vista Stream, the airline’s complimentary wireless inflight entertainment service, offering over 1600 hours of content.

Additionally, a fourth daily Delhi-Bangkok service will be introduced from 1 January 2025, boosting frequency and providing more departure options throughout the day. This will facilitate seamless connections to North America and Europe via Delhi for travellers to and from Bangkok.
Air India will also operate the former Vistara A321neo and B787-9 aircraft on several European and Southeast Asian routes, including Delhi-Frankfurt, Mumbai-Frankfurt, and Delhi-Singapore. These aircraft feature the latest cabin interiors, including fully flat beds in Business Class and Wi-Fi on board.Starting 1 February 2025, Air India will also optimise flight schedules for Delhi-Frankfurt, Delhi-Paris, Delhi-Sydney, and Delhi-Melbourne routes, offering better connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
