Paradox Interactive has just released the second expansion pack for Age of Wonders 4, titled Herald of Glory. This DLC introduces new items and a society trait that allows players to conquer the Astral Sea in a regal manner. Additionally, there are three more upcoming DLC packs planned as part of this expansion pass for Age of Wonders 4.

The next DLC in this expansion pass is Ways of War, scheduled for release on November 5th. This content brings the Oathsworn culture, where players can swear three different oaths: the Oath of Righteousness for battling evil, the Oath of Strife for challenging the powerful, and the Oath of Harmony for a peaceful existence. Ways of War also introduces intrigue events focusing on assassinations and betrayals, as well as new forms like the Simians and Ogrekins, and four Tomes emphasizing discipline, shade, calamity, and prosperity.

In 2025, the remaining two DLCs, Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy, will be released. Giant Kings will feature a new Giant ruler and introduce new items related to ancient traffic and crystal based magic from a fallen empire. Archon Prophecy, the final pack in the expansion pass, will include a new culture, prophecies, and story. The expansion pass is priced at $49.99/£41.99/€49.99, with each DLC pack also available for individual purchase. Ways of War will cost $14.99/£12.79/€14.99, while Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy will be priced at $19.99/£16.99/€19.99 each.
