Saber Interactive and developer Stormind Games have announced A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, a stealthy horror game set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year.

From the trailer, it’s clear that A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will focus on survival and stealth gameplay, requiring players to stay quiet while navigating the world. Players will need to use an asthma pump and a handheld noise meter to avoid detection. The game will feature an original story where players take on the role of a young woman trying to escape terrifying monsters, while also dealing with family conflicts and inner fears in a spin-off from the popular film franchise.

This announcement comes just before the release of A Quiet Place: Day One in theaters.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is being developed by Stormind Games, known for titles like Remothered: Broken Porcelain and Batora: Lost Haven. The trailer suggests that this game will be a significant project for the studio, promising a thrilling experience reminiscent of Alien: Isolation.

It’s unclear how this game ties in with the previously announced A Quiet Place game from 2021, which was also published by Saber but developed by different studios. We are seeking clarification on this matter.
