Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) has appointed Ramanathan Rajamani as its Chief Executive Officer. Rajamani previously held this position from 2018 to 2021, making this his second tenure as CEO.

Rajamani’s appointment is a strategic move aimed at enhancing AISATS’ leadership and operational framework. With over two decades of experience in aviation, logistics, and operational excellence, he is well-suited to lead the organization during a period of growth and transformation in India’s aviation sector.

He started his career in 2001 as an engineer with the Defence Science and Technology Agency and later held significant roles in the aviation industry, including CEO of SATS Security Services in Singapore.

Rajamani expressed his excitement about returning to AISATS as CEO, emphasizing the potential for innovation and exceptional service in India’s aviation and ground/cargo handling sectors.

His academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Science in Logistics from the National University of Singapore, and an Executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Rajamani’s leadership is expected to drive innovation, operational excellence, and align with AISATS’ goal of delivering world-class airport services.

This leadership transition signifies AISATS’ commitment to adapting to the evolving needs of the aviation industry and strengthening its position in a rapidly growing sector.
