Valerie Bertinelli is marking the two-year anniversary of her divorce from Tom Vitale as a time of personal growth and self-discovery.

The 64-year-old Food Network personality shared a message of hope on social media, reassuring her fans that life does improve with time.

Reflecting on her journey, Bertinelli expressed gratitude for overcoming self-doubt and finding strength after her divorce was finalized in November 2022.

She acknowledged the challenges she faced during the past two years, including working through feelings of shame and self-loathing, but also highlighted the progress she has made in discovering her true self.

Bertinelli credited her recent ex-boyfriend Mike Goodnough for helping her experience love again and emphasized the importance of self-love in order to give and receive love authentically.

She shared that she has been confronting past demons and traumas to become the most authentic version of herself, calling this chapter in her life a period of growth and self-acceptance.

Despite acknowledging that some days may still be difficult, Bertinelli reassured her followers that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that things do get better over time.

In November 2022, Bertinelli announced that she was happily divorced from Vitale, marking the end of their decade-long marriage.
